Minnerva provided an invited expert reviewer to help frame the conclusions and results of the SpotlightsTN project to maximise their value to client, the European Commission.

SpotlightsTN was a forum for European transport modellers that was launched in January 2000 by EC/DG TREN to explore ways for making advanced transport models transparent to end-users and more integrated into policy-making processes.

The project hosted a number of streams of activities and Minnerva’s input was particularly directed at the ‘GTF’ specification which was aimed at achieving compatibility between models through the application and definition of a standard data model and format for transport model results.
