London Buses used consultancies NERA and MVA to carry out a wide-ranging strategic review of future options for London 's bus services.

This included an examination of the main possibilities for improving the operational efficiency of London 's bus services undertaken by Andrew Last as part of the MVA team.

This element of the review looked at past experience from bus priority measures, and prospective gains from future enhancements; the potential for efficiency gains from developments in fare and ticketing systems; and a variety of other measures identified through high level brain-storming sessions.
